Yes. We are one of the few hospitals offering in-house pediatric dialysis — including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy). This means zero referral delays for children who need urgent renal support.

Kidney conditions can present at any age — including prenatally. Some congenital kidney abnormalities are detected on antenatal scans, while conditions like nephrotic syndrome commonly appear between ages 2 and 6. Early evaluation is key.

CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) is a gentle, slow form of dialysis used for critically ill children whose kidneys have temporarily stopped working. It runs continuously over hours or days and is particularly suited for hemodynamically unstable patients in the PICU.

Occasional bed-wetting is normal up to age 5–6. However, if it persists beyond this age, occurs frequently, or is accompanied by daytime symptoms like urgency or pain, it’s worth consulting a paediatric nephrologist to rule out underlying bladder or kidney issues.
